These terms describe the basic rules for using Pile3D and the Pile3D portal.

Service
Pile3D provides tools for capturing timber scans, processing measurement data, reviewing calculated volume, and managing organization workflows.
The service is intended for professional forestry, timber, and logistics use.
Accounts and organizations
Users are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for actions performed in their organizations.
Organization owners and admins manage members, devices, credits, settings, and access to organization data.
Customer data
Customers are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and authorization of uploaded scans, images, locations, and related operational data.
Pile3D may process uploaded data to deliver measurement, reporting, support, and reliability functions.
Measurement results
Measurement results depend on capture quality, device sensors, processing status, configuration, and user input.
Users should verify results before making operational, commercial, or legal decisions.
Changes and availability
We may update the service, features, and documentation over time.
We aim to keep Pile3D available, but temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, infrastructure, or third-party services.
