Pile3D

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Pile3D data is collected, why it is used, and how users can request deletion.

Effective date: July 30, 2026

Who we are

Pile3D is provided by RollingWood for timber scanning, volume calculation, inventory, and reporting workflows.

For privacy questions, contact us at pile3d@rollingwood.eu.

Data we collect

We collect account data such as email address, organization membership, and authentication identifiers.

If you inquire about the iPhone offer, we collect your name, email, company, country, requested device quantity, and any phone number, industry or message you provide. We use these details to respond to your inquiry, not to subscribe you to marketing. Inquiries are stored in our database for authorized administrators to manage, together with their status and internal follow-up notes. We may also record inquiries you give us directly, for example at a trade fair. Website inquiry notifications are delivered to our business mailbox through Resend, and Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect the form from abuse. You can request deletion by emailing pile3d@rollingwood.eu.

We collect device identifiers, scan metadata, precise scan location when provided by the device, uploaded images, 3D measurement assets, and calculated timber measurements.

We may collect product interaction, diagnostic, crash, and performance data to operate and improve the service.

How we use data

We use data to authenticate users, pair devices, process scans, calculate volumes, present reports, manage credits, and support inventory workflows.

Diagnostic and usage data is used to monitor reliability, investigate errors, improve performance, and provide support.

Sharing and processors

We do not sell personal data. We use infrastructure and service providers for hosting, authentication, storage, analytics, and communication.

Providers that process data for Pile3D are expected to protect it according to applicable law and contractual obligations.

Retention and deletion

We retain account, organization, scan, and device data while the account or organization uses Pile3D, unless a longer period is required for security, billing, legal, or operational reasons.

Users may request account and data deletion at pile3d@rollingwood.eu or through the account deletion page.

Your choices

You can revoke device permissions such as camera, photos, and location in iOS settings.

You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data by contacting pile3d@rollingwood.eu.
